Dr Alexandrides’ extensive training in craniofacial surgery has enabled him to master primary bone grafting and tissue replacement techniques which are critical to the delivery of successful Rhinoplasty revision surgery. Dr Alexandrides also has the ability to treat congenital or acquired conditions connected to the nose.
Corrective Rhinoplasty Surgery
Revision surgery is considerably more complex than original Rhinoplasty and can be conducted no earlier than 6 months after the initial procedure. This is the time required for the nose to fully recover from initial surgery and any issues connected with it to become fully apparent. Despite its complexity patients can still expect to be back at work a week after surgery.
Dr Alexandrides offers free consultations for patients with issues resulting from Rhinoplasty. Not only does he understand and empathise with the anxiety around unsuccessful surgery he has the expertise to correct problems and provide results that patients will finally be satisfied with.

D.C.
Last year I became very ‘tired’ with a problem I had, had, throughout my life, with regards to something as simple as breathing normally. You will know that I had already had two surgical ‘interventions’, one at the age of eleven or twelve (sinus flush and removal of some bone) and one at the age of twenty-one (removal of excessive bone from the septum in an attempt to free up the air passage). Neither of which were effective in the long term!
The reason I came to you (after, I might add, a great deal of research into the practice) was in the hope that I might finally be able to have the health aspect corrected (ie being able to breathe normally for the first time) as well as having cosmetic aspects changed with regards to reduction in the size/shape of the nose itself.
In a way of explaining some of the results, for the first time in my life, I can actually inhale and get a full breath of air through my nostrils which is a first for me. There is still bruising on the bridge however from what you told me time and fade cream should take care of that.
The cosmetic aspects are also brilliant. As you are aware the septum was ‘off-centre’ due to previous surgery and the results have indeed corrected this as well as the breathing aspect. The great part about that is that, even though it’s been ten months since the operation, it still seems to be getting better as time goes on.
I must also say that everyone I came into contact with at 111 Harley, throughout the procedure from beginning to end, was always of the utmost help and always quick to answer any questions or queries which helps in a massive way, to allay any misgivings one might have about any procedure to be undergone. All that I came into contact within your practice were universally pleasant, knowledgeable and most helpful with any questions.
In an attempt to sum it all up, I had always had misgivings about going back for a third surgery for the same problem (after all what could be ‘fixed’ after two previous operations had failed to correct the problem,!) however, from beginning to end, I always felt comfortable whilst in your practice, received all the information in detail as I needed it and have ended up with a result both health wise and cosmetically, that I would not have thought possible a year ago.
Thank you so very much for all you have done.
