Juvéderm Volbella^® is the newly developed FDA-approved Juvéderm filler that is specifically designed for the lip. It’s best used for lines around the lips (smoker’s lines) and to create a smooth and subtle augmentation to the lips.

Juvéderm Volbella^® for lip augmentation

Previously, patients favoured Juvéderm Ultra is the filler of choice for lip augmentation. However, Juvéderm Volbella^® may be a better choice for you if you are looking for a more natural enhancement, or have ageing lips. If your lips have reduced in size due to age and you have started to notice perioral rhytids (smoking or lipstick lines) or have an undefined lip border, this may be the most suitable filler for you. Others favour it because of its durability…it can last for up to one year.

Juvéderm Volbella^® for lipstick lines

Due to the fillers pliability and softness, it’s a product that can specifically address the lipstick lines and ageing around the mouth area. It differs from other Juvederm fillers because it uses Vycross technology; this is the technology that cross-links high and low weight hyaluronic acid to achieve a more natural looking result. It is a thin formulation that is effective for moulding, so can be helpful when shaping the mouth.
