Ameela (formerly known as Nucleadyn) is an injectable treatment formulated with leading biotech ingredients called polynucleotides. Nucleotides are the organic molecules, found naturally in all living things, that are widely used in regenerative medicines.
When injected, Ameela helps to illicit a visible lift, reduces under-eye puffiness, and addresses skin laxity issues by quickly tightening and lifting in only a few minutes.
Ameela has been known to produce the following effects:
When expertly injected, Ameela causes physical changes to the skin’s connective tissues and encourages bio-restructuring processes to produce a higher number of myofibrils. Myofibrils are the proteins within the muscles and when stimulated by Nucleadyn, they are responsible for the lifting, tightening and de-puffing effects seen after the treatment.

As Ameela is one of the new anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle injections, it contains exceptional ingredients. This means most people would be eligible for the treatment as it is formed specifically of polymerised polynucleotides, which are widely compatible. Of course, during your consultation your medical practitioner will outline secondary ingredients and you will have to disclose any allergens to ensure you will have no adverse reactions.
The only people not suitable for Ameela are those who have recently undergone non-hyaluronic acid-based fillers and wish to have Nucleadyn administered in the same treatment area.
Aside from that, we recommend layering Ameela with hyaluronic acid fillers as this may help to prolong and maximise the effects of this youth-enhancing gel.
One of the best things about Ameela is that it’s the perfect, complementing treatment to prep the skin before Laser or Radiofrequency treatments, Chemical Peels, Facials or Plastic Surgery, as it helps to improve tissue quality, promote faster healing, and attracts stem cells to the treatment area (which essentially boosts the presence of healthy cells).
Where can Ameela be used on the body?
Nucleadyn can be used on the following areas:
One of the reasons we think you’ll love Ameela is because it can be used underneath the eyes to target dark circles and puffiness – which a lot of other injectable treatments cannot… And, thanks to its ultra-gentle, but hyper-innovative ingredients, it can effectively treat lacklustre eyes experiencing any swelling or edema.
This treatment is unlike any other injectable because it is not primarily formulated of hyaluronic acid – which, although hyaluronic acid has a lot of benefits for the skin – it will actually worsen any puffiness around the eye area because of its high water-retention abilities. So that’s why Ameela offers a unique solution. With it’s bio-collagen-stimulating properties, this treatment rouses extra dermal support to help reduce and refreshen your eyes.
So, our top tip is to always enhance and elevate your Ameela treatment using a combination approach. Dr Yannis recently spoke to Vogue about ‘prejuvenation’ (a term encouraging clinical treatments and advanced skincare together), which is why we recommend you complete your Ameela treatment with a complementing Sub-Zero De-Puffing Eye Mask. This will guarantee you have the ultimate soothing, toning and awakening eye treatment.
We know it sounds too good to be true… But with this latest injectable technology, healthier and younger skin can be achieved with effortlessly with Ameela.
