Step 1: Doing Your Research

Finding the best breast surgeon for your needs means doing some research. Things like reading reviews on certified platforms like TrustPilot, RealSelf and Google will help solidify your decision. Plus, as reviews are inherently honest, you know when a surgeon has lots of positive ones you know they must be true.

Looking at before and after photos are essential too when looking for a Breast Surgeon. If they cannot show you examples of their work, consider that a big red flag.

Step 2: Calling The Clinic

Once you’ve found a clinic that you’re happy with for your breast pro, the next step is calling them.

Step 3: The Consultation

The consutlation is an exciting opportunity for you to discuss your goals and expectations with a professional.

There will be a few routine questions about your medical history, but aside from that it is an opportunity for and your surgeon to discuss implants and sizing.

Once you have factored out all the details, you can then arrange your surgery day and payment plans (essentially how you can proceed with your boob job finance plan if needed,) with our Head of Surgical, Abi.

We use Motiva implants as they have a range of sizes and pliabilities to ensure a bespoke procedure that meets your goals.

Your Plastic Surgeon will match you to the right implant depending on the following qualities and your preference to them. Some factors to consider for your breast implants are:

• Softness and perkiness
• Natural results
• Minimal scars
• Firmness and perkiness
• Enhanced cleavage

Step 4: Prepping For Surgery

The best thing about our aftercare program is that it is completely bespoke, no post-operative care is the same – but one element that always remains the same is our patient promise. We are dedicated to treating our patients with the highest levels of medical expertise alongside giving you the opportunity to enhance your skin with our range of non-surgical treatments to help diminish any scarring or post-surgery epidermal concerns.

This is where our amazing Surgical Nurse Zuzana comes in.

Before you surgery, she will outline a personalised pre-surgery care plan to ensure your skin is in it’s best condition, this may include LED light treatments and using Dr Yannis’ signature Dramatic Healing Serum.

Step 5: On The Day Of Your Surgery

On the day of your Harley Street breast surgery, you need to arrive at one of our partnering hospitals. Often, with Dr Reza, this is not far from our flagship clinic and is still on this iconic road.

You’ll arrive at the clinic and be escorted to a private room to get dressed in your surgical gown. Mr Reza will then come and ask you to fill out some consent forms and once the Anaesthetist, Dr Hish, is ready – you’ll then be taken into the theatre, meet the team and then Dr Hish will start getting you ready for the local anaesthetic.

Once the anaesthetic has been administered, you may feel a little sting as it enters through the cannula in your arm – this is completely normal part of it. Then you’ll gently fall asleep and when you wake up your Breast Augmentation will be done!

This is Zuzana, our Surgical Nurse, and Dr Hish, our Anaesthetist.

Step 6: The Procedure

Mr Reza is exceptional at Breast Augmentations and can perform them in around an hour.

First Mr Reza will measure and mark the area, ensuring any incision made is only a few centimetres long.

Once the incision is made, he will use a Bipolar tool to cauterise the breast tissue wall, essentially making space for the implant to fit snugly within the muscle wall.

He will then use the Keller Funnel and insert the implant within. Once the implant is secured, he will then close the incision and do the other side.

Aftercare

You’ll have a lot of follow-ups after your surgery with our Surgical Nurse, Zuzana and Dr Yannis.

These will happen weekly in our 111 Harley St. theatre, where Zuzana will clean the area and monitor your progress.

You will also undergo LED light treatments with our Celluma machine to accelerate the healing process and minimise any scarring, and of course, be given Dr Yannis’ Dramatic Healing Serum.
