What are the benefits?

Alongside all the above benefits, Ameela® is also primarily known for its restorative powers where after just two treatments, you can expect your skin to be firmer, elasticity improved, and your skin better equipped to fight against free radicals and cellular damage. This means that Ameela gives you long-lasting results that have a positive effect on the skin long after your first treatment.

How does Ameela® work?

When Ameela® is injected, it causes a histological change of fibroblasts, osteoblasts, and adipocytes – cells in the tissue that supports the formation of connective tissues and secrete collagen in their own unique ways. It especially makes a big impact on fibroblasts in the skin, causing them to change into myofibroblasts, which are activated when the skin is injured. So essentially what you can expect Ameela® is for it to restore tissue integrity. This means positive effects are seen quickly where a ‘lift’ in skin structure is visible after a few minutes.

What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are found in DNA and are chains that form the helix – this means that when injected they are biocompatible. Polynucleotides are used widely in regenerative medicines and their entry into the aesthetics world has set a new bar for injectables. So long fillers and anti-wrinkle injectables… If the creation of Ameela® has enabled one thing, it’s ensuring a new future for bio-stimulators.

How many treatments will I need?

We recommend 2 sessions, about 2 weeks apart. To maintain the best results, top-up treatments may be required.

If you’ve already a big fan of Nucleadyn, and have had one treatment with us, you can have your second treatment of Ameela® as normal as they are exactly the same product – just with a newer name.
