Our OBSERV skin scanner uses a variety of light modes – such as their patented fluorescent and polarised light illumination technologies – to analyse the skin. Often used during a consultation, our skin experts are able to use this unique methodology to instantly and effectively diagnose skin conditions. OBSERV gives our team the flexibility to switch between different analysis modes (Wood’s Light, Simulated Wood’s Light, Daylight, True UV, Parallel Polarisation, Cross Polarisation and Complexion Analysis) to identify skin damage, vascular concerns, rosacea and more. Using our OBSERV machine is complimentary and will help elevate your consultation and your understanding of the skin and the damage that remains invisible to the eye. OBSERV is ideal for patients who want a more in-depth look into their skin conditions or those who are not sure of what treatments they would need according to their skin concerns. At your consultation, we will use skin analysis technology which allows us to determine optimal treatment options for existing conditions and to help educate our patients on the preventative measures they can take to keep their skin healthy.
How does a skin scanner work?
A skin scanner works by essentially inspecting the skin under UV light. With OBSERV skin scanning technology, we can also take before photos; these enable us to track changes in the skin over time – and see the efficacy of treatments in action. After the analysis, we’ will advice which skin treatment would be the best for your skin needs.
We can gather clear and accurate data quickly and safely helping uncover a variety of skin issues and conditions such as:
